To be successful in this role you will be able to engage students in the Technology Enterprise (T&E) Learning Area and will have strong curriculum knowledge to ensure our students will reach their full potential. Knowledge of, and experience in, Western Australian Curriculum planning, delivery and assessment are essential for this position. It is essential for the successful applicant to hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and have the ability to deliver Certificate II Applied Digital Technology. You should also be able to display an ability to provide a safe, efficient and effective practical learning environment within the context of T&E.
This successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be relationship focussed, able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning. You will be innovative, knowledgeable and possess thorough understandings of instructional and curriculum expertise whilst keeping abreast of the latest developments within the Learning Area. You will be reflective in assessing the effectiveness of your teaching practice and able to cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- Meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration; and
- Complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
