The Role and our Branch
The Information Systems ECT Branch is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and organised Senior Consultant - Systems Analyst – Programmer to join their team.
The Senior Consultant - Systems Analyst - Programmer provides leadership and support to teams developing and maintaining School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) information systems and web applications whilst leading teams to undertake analysis and design new computer systems or major change to existing systems.

The successfully applicant should ideally have strong programming experience in ASP.NET and Angular 9 based systems. Experience in developing and maintaining computer systems based on complex mathematical modelling is highly desirable. This position works within a team-based environment for specific IT projects and the reporting relationships may change from time to time.

- Demonstrated considerable experience in a systems analyst role; including advanced programming skills and knowledge in the administration and development of databases.
- Demonstrated substantial project management experience; including the ability to develop and coordinate system investigation, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support and implement effective change control.
- Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical, research and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and clarify problems and generate strategies to address them.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
