We are seeking to establish a pool of dedicated Program Coordinators - Years 7-9 for appointments to fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.
Forming an integral part of the school leadership team, the suitable applicants will ideally display and possess effective leadership qualities. They will lead the coordination and implementation of tiered responses (which includes case formulation processes), and targeted intervention programs for students across the year 7-9 cohorts..
The Program Coordinator – Years 7-9 will work collaboratively with the Program Coordinator – Student Services, wider Student Services team, Heads of Learning Area (HOLA’s) and teaching staff to enhance student engagement to ensure high educational outcomes for students within the year 7-9 cohorts, taking a lead in student wellbeing and pastoral care outcomes
The suitable applicants will have the ability to promote a positive whole-school culture, and a sense of belonging. They will work to promote positive educational outcomes students, with a particular focus on the year 7-9 cohorts, including those with diverse and identified learning needs.

Eligibility and training requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- hold a recognised qualification in teaching and be currently registered or eligible for registration to teach in Western Australia
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- Complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment.
