In this role you will be a highly valued member of our staff. As a culturally responsive and inclusive school, one of your key priorities will include providing all students with opportunities to achieve success through education.
You will be required to plan, teach and assess English curriculum, largely year 10 Australian Curriculum and Year 11 and 12 General English, have strong classroom management skills and a willingness to be part of a supportive pastoral care system is highly valued.

Our School
The WACOA - Harvey is located in Western Australia’s popular South West region, a gateway to many tourist attractions, experiences and lifestyle opportunities. We are a co-educational facility providing education and training to students in Years 10, 11 and 12.
As a specialist Agricultural and related trades training school, students attend from across Western Australia with the majority boarding on site. Students apply to attend the College with a genuine interest in the curriculum offerings and are motivated and engaged in their learning as a result.

The Location and Community

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- Meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
