Halls Creek District High School (DHS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher - Secondary to join their friendly team.

About the role
The successful applicant will develop, improve and deliver high school Mathematics programs whilst improving the participation of indigenous high school students in Mathematical activities. You will participate on the schools Numeracy committee to provide expertise in whole school strategic planning in Mathematics outcomes for students.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, a team player willing to extend their experience beyond mathematics and participate in whole school activities and working groups. You will have high level communication skills and the ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
