About the role
One Arm Point (RCS) is seeking an innovative teacher for a fixed term 36 month position.
The successful applicant will lead the teaching team in developing positive learning environments in classrooms and guiding whole school curriculum practices.The successful applicant will embrace our school improvement agenda and strategic direction.

The successful applicant will ideally have extensive experience in leading whole school initiatives and programs including First Steps Mathematics, Cracking the Code, Letters and Sounds, Spelling Mastery and Bright Path Writing assessment.
The Curriculum Coordinator will possess the ability to model best practice in classrooms and provide mentoring and feedback for classroom teachers. The successful applicant will be able to plan and deliver regular curriculum meetings and professional learning to staff and also fill in to do relief across the Kindergarten to Year 12 school as required.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
