Appointment Pool
We are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2022. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within 2022.
There is currently one (1) full-time permanent position to fill in Albany and one (1) fixed term (12 months) position to fill in Busselton.

Engagement and Transitions Managers provide support and advice to ensure the development and implementation of strategic directions to maximise transition services across the region and schools. They provide support and advice in the development and establishment of the region’s and schools’ career and transition plans, and, facilitate links between schools, State Training Providers, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), Educational Regional Office and the Department in implementing policy and key initiatives.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance before commencing employment
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- complete
- the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- training specific to this role required by Department policy; and
- the Department’s training in Accountability and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
