Appointment Pool
Dalyellup College are seeking to establish a pool of Science Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.
We are seeking applicants who are collaborative, effective communicators with parents, staff and students and are passionate and engaging educators. Suitable applicants will promote an environment of active and positive learning as well as provide educational opportunities and activities which enable all students to achieve their highest potential.
Suitable applicants will ideally be a passionate and dedicated educator, highly motivated to work in a collaborative team environment. They will provide students with a purposeful and engaging learning experience to develop their skills, knowledge and understandings related to Science, supported by a variety of approaches to learning.
Suitable applicants will ideally be student and relationship focused, enthusiastic, innovative and motivated with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. As part of a dedicated team you will be required to develop, review and deliver Science curriculum. You should engage in ongoing self-reflection and assess the effectiveness of your practice to create an environment conducive to learning and provide educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering for different student learning needs.
Dalyellup College is the one of the newest secondary facilities in the Bunbury/Capel region. Having developed from the fastest growing and largest primary school in the state and expanding to a Kindergarten to Year 11 College over the past twelve years.
The final de-merger of the college into two primary schools and a separate Years 7 to 12 secondary facility occurred in 2013 when it also became an Independent Public School and was the beginning of a new and exciting phase for the Dalyellup Community and the college.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
