Do you possess excellent communication skills and are ready to take on new challenges?
Grovelands Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Early Childhood and Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.
Grovelands PS is a 'You Can Do It!' school which celebrates the five keys to success - Organisation, Getting Along, Persistence, Confidence and Resilience.
Our school vision is to be an inspired community of engaged, empowered learners, and we are seeking applicants who are highly motivated, collaborative and supportive of whole school processes. Suitable applicants should be committed to ongoing professional growth and development. The capacity to develop motivating and quality evidence based educational programs that put students first is highly desirable.
Suitable applicants will be responsible for providing targeted differentiated teaching in line with the school’s strategic direction and consistent with the Western Australian curriculum. Knowledge and experience in the successful implementation of Letters & Sounds and Talk 4 Writing would also be highly desirable. Suitable applicants should also be confident in using digital technologies across the curriculum to create innovative learning experiences that enhance student outcomes.
The capacity to effectively manage and implement whole school assessment and reporting tools to track student achievement is key to this role. Ideally, you will have the capacity to use this data to address the specific needs of all students to provide targeted pathways for learning, in alignment with school priorities, and be comfortable discussing student data with your colleagues in the team environment.
Suitable applicants should possess the ability to effectively develop positive relationships with students and proactively and positively manage student behaviour.
At Grovelands PS we have a dedicated team of experienced and passionate teaching staff who are committed to providing opportunities for students to grow, achieve and excel at school. Our staff place an emphasis on quality teaching, and work to provide a broad and challenging curriculum that meets the interests and learning needs of all students, underpinned by our ‘You Can Do It!’ approach.

Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
