Appointment Pool
Yanchep Secondary College (SC) are seeking to establish a pool of enthusiastic and motivated Design and Technology Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2022. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year, up to the end of Term 3, 2022.
Suitable applicants will ideally have proven abilities in learning program planning and instructional practice to facilitate improved student outcomes. We are seeking teachers who are strong team players who support improvement in teaching and learning in a Senior High School environment. You will ideally model a culture of self-reflection and engagement in coaching that promotes your professional growth.
You will support the Technologies Learning Area team to strategically meet the learning needs of all students studying the Technologies curriculum, including students with disabilities and special needs
Suitable applicants will ideally possess excellent communication and public relation skills that allow you to build and maintain collaborative and respectful partnerships across the college and the wider community. Suitable applicants will also ideally possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational and instructional skills as you support the Design and Technologies Learning Area through the College’s School Improvement agenda. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- Hold full, non-practising or provisional registration with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full, non-practising or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
