Alkimos (Shorehaven) Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of highly motivated and professional Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.

With the exciting opportunity of being a foundation teacher, suitable applicants will help create a school environment that is positive, safe and instructionally focused whilst providing engaging classroom communities which are personalised to support the success of each and every learner. Suitable applicants will ideally possess the skills required to build and then maintain productive relationships with all members of the school community.
Suitable applicants should be able to provide examples of outstanding pedagogy and knowledge of contemporary whole-school practices which will enable them to quickly adapt to those taken on by our school. Equally regarded will be applicant’s ability to use Information Communication Technology (ICT) to both enhance learning and communication.
Teachers who have a passion in the areas of Performing Arts, Physical Education, Science or Languages other than English may choose to highlight this in their application.
