Are you a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher looking for a rewarding change?
Meekatharra District High School (DHS) is seeking a motivated and engaging Teacher of Physical Education to join their friendly and supportive team.
The successful applicant will ideally possess the professional knowledge, understanding and experience to deliver an engaging, vibrant and relevant Physical Education curriculum for years PP-10. You will have a commitment to working collaboratively with students, staff and members of the school community, including the organising of Carnivals, Country Week and any other sport events as necessary.

You will ideally be a highly motivated teacher and have the ability to work as part of a dedicated team. Meekatharra DHS has a strong, established PBS approach, focused on our COOL values of respect for Community, Others, Oneself and Learning. Meekatharra is located in the beautiful Murchison region. Students and families at our school are proud to live ‘on country’ and make the most of the rich natural beauty and resources that surround us. The school is small but strong, and the teaching group includes both graduates and highly experienced, local staff. Our staff are a supportive and collegiate group of committed educators, and we have a strong focus on staff health and wellbeing. Staff are welcomed into community activities such as youth sports and community events. A number of incentives for regional schools are available, including subsidised housing, Country Teaching Program allowances and a recognised graduate coaching and mentoring program.
