Golden Bay Primary School (PS) is seeking to appoint a hardworking and motivated Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team.
The successful applicant will ideally have highly developed interpersonal skills and the capacity to work cooperatively with all others to create a welcoming and vibrant environment for students and families. Sound curriculum knowledge and pedagogy that encompasses 'Critical and Creative Thinking' is highly desirable. The successful applicant should have a focus on early intervention and differentiated curriculum to meet each student at their point of need.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- Be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. (Applicants who require a Limited Registration to teach from the TRB are not eligible). TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
