Appointment Pool
Sutherland Dianella Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.
As a Teacher at our school, suitable applicants will be passionate educators committed to making a difference in the lives of all young people. Suitable applicants should have a strong knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum, and a focus on embedding ICT throughout their Teaching and Learning program.
It is highly desirable that suitable applicants can work collaboratively within a school community and have a genuine investment in our school and its business plan. Suitable applicants will ideally show a student centred focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to build effective working relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- Be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. (Applicants who require a Limited Registration to teach from the TRB are not eligible). TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
