Appointment Pool
Beaumaris Primary School (PS) are seeking highly qualified teachers to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies, which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.
Suitable applicants will be innovative and be able to work effectively, and collaborate as a pro-active staff member. They will have thorough understanding of the WA Curriculum and high impact, explicit pedagogy to provide high quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students.
In this role you will be required to have a good understanding of integrated planning and teaching to engage learners in inquiry, stretch students’ thinking and a proven ability to cater for the range of differences in the classroom. The suitable applicants will possess excellent knowledge about the power of assessment for differentiated learning, and explicit teaching and proven practice in this element of pedagogy. Incorporating student voice into program design and the co-construction of the learning and social environment is a priority at Beaumaris, and suitable applicants will possess the capacity to be able to do this.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. (Applicants who require a Limited Registration to teach from the TRB are not eligible). TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
