Appointment Pool
Do wish to be part of a dynamic team of educators?
Malvern Springs Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School (IPS) which is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.
The school holds the principles of high expectations, effective teaching, student and staff wellbeing, parental and community involvement and whole school approaches.
Malvern Springs PS uses high impact teaching strategies and applicants who have a background in this area are highly desirable. Suitable applicants will ideally have high expectations and competency, where they are agile and willing to accept and act on feedback. The school values continual growth of teachers through classroom observation, coaching, action learning, feedback and on-going professional learning. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate how they manage students with disabilities and challenging behaviours in ways that preserve the integrity of the child.
Suitable applicants will work hard, show resilience, have a high level of interpersonal and reflective skills, where they collaborate in year level teams. Applicants need to be prepared to contribute to, reflect on and review whole school approaches where they work in positive ways. Teachers also need to be data literate and respond to data in ways that support student learning.
Suitable applicants will ideally be exceptional, highly motivated and generous with their time, committing to working extra hours with the community to support student development. Developing positive working relationships with parents and the community is considered essential at Malvern Springs PS. In this school, which was opened in 2012, parents value education and have high aspirations for their children
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
