Appointment Pool
Redcliffe Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Early Childhood Education - Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year
The suitable applicants will ideally possess a strong knowledge of all key elements of Early Years pedagogy and curriculum as well as an ability to inspire students to develop a passion for learning in vibrant, engaging and supportive classrooms. The suitable applicants should be highly motivated, display excellent interpersonal skills and have an ability to build effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community.
Ideally the suitable applicants will display highly developed competencies in differentiating the curriculum, particularly in Literacy and Numeracy and be able to structure learning experiences within a play-based environment while using high impact learning strategies to support language development. They should provide a nurturing and supportive environment that ensures the wellbeing of all and build positive relationships with all members of the school community. Professional learning and coaching will be provided to the suitable applicant in Nurture Group principles and practice.
Teachers will ideally develop emotional literacy and problem solving skills, reinforcing persistence, goal setting and resilience of our students. The lessons learned in class are reinforced when students are problem solving in learning and play situations. Our school has a community approach to supporting students. Staff members develop relationships with students across the school and work together to support them in becoming responsible learners.
Redcliffe PS is well resourced with Teachers use STEM learning processes to help provide a 21st Century education, preparing students for their future.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

Applicants currently completing the Department of Education Leap program (formerly known as the Switch program) can apply for vacancies using their current or Leap qualification – even if they have not completed the program at the time of applying. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. (Applicants who require a Limited Registration to teach from the TRB are not eligible). TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
