Belridge Secondary College (SC) is seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher to join their dedicated and enthusiastic team.
The Mathematics learning area is committed to teaching excellence, ensuring all students are provided with the best opportunities for future success. To be successful in this role, you should have a willingness to lead curriculum development within the mathematics learning area and develop pedagogy to meet the needs of all students from Years 7 to Years 12. In addition, you will ideally have a strong knowledge of and experience in the Senior School Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE) courses across the Mathematics field.
In addition, applicants who possess strong interpersonal skills and are easily able to work as part of a team and demonstrate high levels of professional conduct, communication and integrity will be highly regarded. As will those applicants who show initiative and Involvement in the implementation of extracurricular activities to support the learning of students and play an active role in school life.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
