This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2021
Belmont City College (CC) is seeking a highly professional, passionate and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our team.
The successful applicant will successfully develop and deliver programs for Years 7 to 11 WA Curriculum and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) Mathematics courses.

Belmont CC has modern facilities, and is set in the heart of the City of Belmont which provides the backdrop for our many innovative programs. Belmont CC students have access to networked computers throughout the campus and supervised internet access in classrooms and other learning areas. Our classrooms are equipped with up to date technologies such as ‘smart boards’ and ‘smart projectors’ and we value teachers who can integrate these technologies in their classroom practice.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
