Appointment Pool
Are you looking for an exciting challenge?
We are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.
Suitable applicants will ideally be familiar with the Student Centred Funding Model, with current DOE financial management practices, familiar with current DOE performance development processes and have public relations knowledge. Applicants with social media knowledge, ICT knowledge, experience in managing and working with school officers and education assistants will be highly regarded. We are a school for students with disabilities so some knowledge of the disability sector would be advantageous. The applicants need to be extremely flexible - we have a split campus arrangement and the MCS works between the two sites. We have an office on both campuses.
Applicants need to have exceptional people skills - our school community is quite varied and we provide many additional supports to our families over and above what would be considered usual. The applicants need to be creative people who enjoy problem solving and can work independently as there is often no one else in the office.
Geographe Education Support Centre is located in Busselton and caters for students with a range of disabilities from Kindergarten to Year 12. Throughout their school years our students have amazing opportunities. They will learn how to care for themselves, be responsible, stay safe, protect themselves and be confident and caring individuals. They will actively engage in their communities through caring for the environment, joining teams, becoming great workers and volunteering.
