Munglinup Primary School (PS) is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to undertake teaching duties with Years 3 to 6. We are looking for a primary trained teacher who can cater for the diverse needs of a small multi-age class, collaborate with other members of the teaching team and have a positive attitude towards continually developing as a teacher to provide the best for our students.
At Munglinup PS, we are focused on improving students’ knowledge in both English and Mathematics. We are also focused on developing our school values; respect, courage, self-belief and persistence and embedding them within the school. We are well equipped with ICT equipment and embed ICT use throughout the curriculum. Experience in delivery of Talk 4 Writing, Letters and sounds and Words their way desirable. Curriculum leadership experience also desirable but not essential.
Munglinup PS is situated in a farming area between Esperance (105km) and Ravensthorpe (80km). Our school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, and our small size provides a warm and welcoming learning environment for its students.
Applicants please note that there is currently no GROH housing available in Munglinup town site. Therefore, the successful applicant would need to drive from Esperance, Ravensthorpe or another small community, depending on housing availability. This situation may change throughout the year if GROH decide to and are able to secure a house in Munglinup.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
