Situated in the foothills of the Darling Range, our school provides dynamic and engaging educational opportunities that inspire children to become excellent achievers, responsible learners and positive citizens.
Staff at Helena Valley PS have developed a positive culture based on collaboration, observation and feedback. All staff are involved in teams that drive the vision and direction of the school.

Staff are trained in and expected to have effective behaviour management skills based on the CMS philosophies and the use of school-wide practices such as PBS (Positive Behaviour Support). The school has whole school expectations of student behaviour, these are encompassed in all teaching and learning areas and is a focus for the whole school reward systems.
