Greenwood College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher – Mathematics to join their team.
The successful applicant will be a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics specialist with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. The role requires extensive knowledge of the Western Australian (WA) Mathematics Curriculum. It is highly desired that applicants have significant experience teaching 11/12 ATAR Mathematics Specialist and be able to plan for and instruct students in academic extension programs as well as students at academic risk.
The successful applicant will ideally possess the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary Mathematics curriculum using a positive, student-focused approach, and have proven success working with students across a range of ability levels, including multi-age groups.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to liaise with colleagues, parents and external networks to establish strong community partnerships, are also highly regarded. As the successful applicant, you will be relationship focused with a consistent and transparent classroom management approach. You will be enthusiastic, seek opportunities for innovation and leadership, and desirably have the proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
