Bullsbrook College located 15 minutes north of the Swan Valley and 20 minutes east of Joondalup is seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.
Bullsbrook College is seeking reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join their friendly team. Cleaners play a vital role at our school by creating and maintaining a clean, safe environment for our staff and students to enjoy. To be suitable for this role you will have good attention to detail and will be able to work independently to carry out internal and external cleaning duties including maintenance of carpets and rubbish removal.
As a Cleaner, you will carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition to this, you will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning and other such duties as required by the Cleaner-In-Charge. Split shifts may be available.

ELIGIBILITY AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Employees will be required to:
- Complete introductory School Gardener training within 3 months of commencement in metropolitan areas or as soon as practicable for regional areas;
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy;
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- Complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment. Certification;
The Department applies a ten (10) day breach period to this selection process.
