Osborne Primary School (PS) is seeking a Primary - Languages – Italian teacher who effectively embeds Digital Technologies in the delivery of the curriculum in years 3-6. A component of the role is the delivery of other aspects of the curriculum in a DOTT support role to teachers.
The successful applicant will possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. We seek a teacher who is adept at building relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
We have an expectation of highly engaging teaching and learning with measurable outcomes. Applicants must have a demonstrated history of creating and maintaining a stimulating learning environment for students. Your aim is to inspire a passion for learning Italian. Applicants must be highly experienced in effective, holistic behaviour management and engagement.
Osborne PS currently caters for approximately 280 students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. The close proximity of the school to the Perth CBD and easy access to the freeway is a distinct advantage to those working in, or close to the city. The School is staffed by dedicated, experienced teachers, and includes specialist Early Childhood Teachers for both Kindergarten and Pre Primary classes, Teachers embed ICT as a general capability across the learning areas.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

ELIGIBILITY

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
