Appointment Pool
Edgewater Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.
Edgewater PS is a level 5 school located in the northern suburbs, close to the rail line, approximately 24 km north of the city of Perth. The school is one of twelve schools in the Joondalup Learning Community Network.

Evidence of Wellbeing and Sustainability practices in the natural environment would be highly desirable.

You will be expected to engage in the school based professional learning programs, classroom observation practices and welcome opportunities to be coached and mentored. It is expected that teachers of Edgewater PS engage in leadership roles and responsibilities beyond the classroom that support the school’s improvement agenda.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
