Halls Head College (HHC) are seeking to establish a pool of outstanding, passionate and committed Mathematics Teachers with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements up until the end of Term 4, 2021.
Appointed staff will be given the opportunity to work across Years 7 – 12, according to college needs, and bring their expertise to the Learning Area, applying their knowledge of the Mathematics Courses and experience in teaching Senior School Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) Maths to help our students achieve outstanding results. Applicants will need to possess the professional knowledge, understandings and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school Mathematics curriculum and have proven success working with working with students with a range of ability levels. Lower school specialist teachers who can extend, adjust and accommodate student needs accordingly to maximise progress in Mathematics are also highly sought after. Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.
To be suitable for this role, you will be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment, as well as exhibit an engaging and energetic teaching style.

HHC is uniquely situated on the 'island' of Halls Head just south of Mandurah. The local intake area is south, close to the Waroona Shire boundary. Eligibility
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;

Training
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
