We are currently advertising the following vacancies:
Supervisor Cleaning - $1,118.70 to $1,131.80 per week, pro rata
The Supervisor Assistant is responsible for directing and supervising the cleaning team at the Perth Museum and its Galleries. You will be responsible for the preparation of rosters, daily work schedules, timesheets, performance management, administration and training requirements for the cleaning department
We currently have two (2) permanent positions available sharing up to 1.4 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) available for immediate filling.
To be considered for the Supervisor position your resume/curriculum vitae (CV) must demonstrate at least 3 years supervision experience and the ability to manage rostering.
Cleaner - $967.80 to $987.40 per week, pro rata.
Responsible for providing a high standard of cleaning at the Perth Museum and its Galleries.
There are currently up to twelve (12) permanent part time positions, ten (10) at 0.46 FTE (35 hours per fortnight) and two (2) at 0.65 FTE (49 hours per fortnight). There will also be two (2) fixed term part time positions at 0.65 FTE (49 hours per fortnight). All positions will be commencing in October.
Conditions
the positions will be required to work a 2-week roster that may include weekend shifts that will be subject to the applicable penalty rates. You may be required to start at 5:00am including on weekends and public holidays, these hours may change to meet operational requirements.
Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool which will run for 18 months, where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.
Successful applicants will be required to provide a current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate. Additionally, a Working with Children Clearance will be required before beginning employment. Possession of the Australian Hospitality and Tourism COVID Hygiene Training Certificate is also required before commencing.

These positions are located in the world-class new Western Australian Museum in the Perth Cultural Centre, Perth.
