This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2020.
Armadale Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a passionate, experienced and enthusiastic Teacher - Arts teacher to join their friendly teaching team.
The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to contribute positively to a team environment. We are seeking an individual who is able to teach Media and Performing Arts from Year 7- 12. The successful applicant will possess professional knowledge, understandings and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary school Arts curriculum. As an expert practitioner you will have demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in regular self-reflection.
Armadale SHS is an Independent Public School dedicated to providing students from Year 7 to Year 12 with strong academic achievement and positive engagement. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
