Appointment Pool
West Leederville Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Middle - Upper - Year 3 - 6 for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2020 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2021. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2020 school year, up to the end of Term 3, 2021.
West Leederville PS is a vibrant inner city school located in a growth area 3km from the Perth CBD. The school caters for over 550 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school offers a range of programs with a focus on Literacy, Numeracy and Technology. As a Teacher Development School Technologies, teachers at West Leederville Primary School integrate digital technologies into their daily teaching to support innovative, differentiated learning opportunities and promote higher order thinking.

All members of the West Leederville PS teaching team participate in whole school, phase of learning as well as curriculum teams. Demonstrated leadership in these areas would be well regarded.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy

- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
