About Us

The North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) Procurement, Infrastructure and Contract Management (PICM) division is located at Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre Site (QEII) in Nedlands 4km from Perth city centre. Whilst located at QEII, the division supports hospitals and health services across NMHS.

The PICM Division is currently running a number of change programs and the structure is under review in relation to the future vision.

About the Role

The Compliance Manager role is a new position in the PICM division, being part of the Corporate and Finance stream, and is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a strong compliance management program. The position is required to have a role governing the various compliance related functions across PICM services, which include; Capital/Infrastructure, Procurement, Contract Management, Facilities Management, Corporate and Finance, Property, Leasing & Fleet, and Metropolitan Access and Parking, and will require the use of strong business partnering skills.

A search process shall be conducted as part of this process ran by the Futures Group.

This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced individual with substantial experience in managing and monitoring legislative compliance in a complex organisation, with demonstrated knowledge of governance systems applicable to procurement, works, contracting and leasing functions in the Public Sector. Demonstrated experience in risk management, planning, policy and process development will be essential as well as demonstrated computing skills and experience, advanced conceptual analytical and research skills in project planning and coordination and experience in continuous improvement principles and their application.

Excellent interpersonal skills are a requirement together with high level verbal and written communications skills and the proven ability to establish networks and communicate effectively at all levels.
