Appointment Pool
Marangaroo Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of enthusiastic and passionate Teachers – Primary for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2020 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2020 school year.
We are looking for teachers with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to help build and maintain a school culture which underpins professional and positive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
Suitable applicants will be positive professionals who are able to work effectively within collaborative teams, with an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum. We are seeking teachers who can work in a cooperative environment to improve student outcomes, reflect on their own performance, contribute to staff development and support our distributed leadership structure. As a teacher of our school, you will have a passion for explicit teaching and a commitment to implementing school strategies.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
