Munglinup Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher – Primary to join their school.
The successful applicant will be a passionate and highly motivated educator with the ability to provide high quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students. Applicants should already have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to deliver content in an engaging manner within a MAGS classroom. You will have excellent interpersonal skills in order to develop effective relationships with students, staff and parents.
You will also be highly motivated, innovative, enthusiastic, flexible and have the ability to create an effective, engaging and inclusive learning environment based on high expectations. The ability to work effectively in teams is essential and the demonstrated capacity to lead and support the development of other staff is highly desirable.
Munglinup PS is situated in a farming area between Esperance and Ravensthorpe. Our school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and we believe in the whole child and encouraging their desire to achieve excellence and to reach their potential. We aim to promote creative and reflective decision making that will contribute to a lifelong love of learning, and empower students to become active and valued citizens of our world.
Our learning programs are holistic, enabling us to meet the needs and learning styles of all students. The link between community and the school promotes a positive educational experience for all students.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy

- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
