Leeming Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher - Junior - Years 1-2.
The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic and a deep knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum. The successful applicant will have a total commitment to the role, and a willingness to show leadership and initiative. You will be proactive in participating in whole school, and phase of learning planning and curriculum development. You will demonstrate an exceptionally high level of collaborative practice together with interpersonal skills to enable effective participation and engagement within a digitally orientated school.
Located in the Perth suburb of Leeming, 15 kilometres south of the city, Leeming PS is an Independent Public School that currently caters for approximately 300 students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. Students are generally well adjusted, well cared for, alert and eager to learn. The school has gained a number of academic awards and has an enviable record in the sporting arena.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
