As a teacher at Woodlupine Primary School (PS) school you will work collaboratively with others to help create and maintain an engaging and stimulating learning environment for students to enjoy, and will be able to help inspire students to develop a passion for learning. We are seeking a teacher who is creative in their approach while providing a structured approach to literacy and numeracy learning. The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate the ability to use data to review and differentiate learning and support students to develop healthy and positive life habits.
Woodlupine PS is located in Forrestfield and caters for students in Kindergarten to Year 6. At Woodlupine PS, we have recognised the need to foster skills and attitudes that will meet the demands of the 21st century. We strive to support students to become active and engaged citizens who instinctively embrace technologies while committing to sustainability and intercultural understanding.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
