Cecil Andrews College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a English Teacher. The successful applicant will ideally have experience in teaching Upper School Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) English courses.
As the successful applicant, you will be highly motivated; student and relationship focused and able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning experiences. You will utilise innovative initiatives and be able to work effectively within a dynamic team. This will involve reflecting and assessing the effectiveness of your teaching practice and cultivating a safe learning environment, underpinned by our core value of respect.
Cecil Andrews College is situated in Seville Grove in the City of Armadale and provides exemplary education to children from Year 7 to Year 12. The college has recently undergone a three million dollar upgrade. As a result, the school boasts excellent facilities for its students.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
