Are you a passionate teacher who wants to make a difference? Do you believe every child can learn? Are you prepared to be part of the village that raises the child? Then Boulder Primary School wants you.
Boulder Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2020 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2020 school year.
We seek educators who have high expectations and truly believe that all children can learn and be successful. Applicants will be committed to putting students first and will work hard to deliver motivating, quality programs. The learning environment you will create will be engaging, challenging, caring and cater for a range of needs promoting student achievement. You will build positive relationships with students and utilise effective classroom management strategies to establish and maintain a calm, orderly, learning focussed program.
The staff at Boulder Primary are welcoming and work collaboratively with each other and the community. Part of the vision of the Boulder Primary School Board is that they want to be ‘part of the village that raises the child’. Likewise, we seek teachers who will work collaboratively with colleagues and the school community and regularly reflect on their own performance to offer a quality education for all students. A distributed leadership model provides opportunities for teachers to grow as leaders and make a difference.
As the Physical Education Teacher you would be expected to lead the Physical Education and Health Learning Area across the school. The successful applicant will demonstrate a high level of organisation and communication skills to ensure that all Carnivals and Interschool Competitions are delivered successfully.
