Appointment Pool
John Forrest Secondary College (SC) is seeking to create a pool of suitably qualified, enthusiastic and progressive Mathematics Teachers to full time or part time, permanent or fixed term which may arise during the 2020 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2020 school year.
The suitable applicants will be joining an enthusiastic team of teachers who are engaged in implementing a whole school approach to the educational programs offered in the college. They will be expected to employ a variety of relevant and innovative teaching and learning strategies and will differentiate instruction for a range of abilities.
We require teachers with proven experience in teaching Mathematics to ATAR level, who are relationship focused and able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills while working collaboratively in a team environment. Suitable applicants will have a strong track record of using ICT to enhance teaching practice.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
