We are seeking exceptional teachers with a passion for learning
Leeming Senior High School (SHS) are seeking to establish a pool of French Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2020 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2020 school year.
We are seeking passionate educators, with contemporary teaching pedagogy and a commitment to making differences in the lives of our students. You will be effective in engaging and motivating students with the ability to manage an appropriate learning environment catering to the behavioural, academic, social and emotional needs of all students, including the ability to differentiate the curriculum though extension and enrichment as well as the use of information technology with the school’s strong BYOD culture. You will be an exceptional teacher of French, as well as being flexible and adaptive and have the ability or desire to teach French across all year levels including ATAR courses.
Suitable applicants will possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to develop and promote the school’s values, ethos and priorities across the school community. You will demonstrate quality teaching by working collaboratively in a team environment with students, teachers and the school community to support students in achieving their potential.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
