Mindarie Senior College (SC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science - Psychology teacher to join their team. Experience in teaching ATAR Psychology to Year 11 and 12 students and the ability to teach Human Biology is highly desirable.

With effective interpersonal skills, you will work closely with students, teachers and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
As a reflective practitioner, suitable applicants will possess effective data literacy and a capacity to modify their practice to meet the identified student’s needs. A demonstrated capacity to engage in the development and implementation of innovative classroom practices, including integration of information technology into the curriculum, is a requirement. Pastoral care also remains a highly desirable aspect of the role.
In this role you will participate as an integral member of the Science learning area and be responsible for supporting the collaborative approach to curriculum planning, providing learning programs to students suited to the needs of the school community and modelling exemplary teaching and learning strategies in your delivery.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
