The position
An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated Systems Analyst to join the Strategic Business Innovation Group, who will bring a keen interest in contributing to the strategic and operational planning of the Solutions and Architecture Branch.
In this role, you will identify, document and ratify the detailed functional and non-functional specifications for the design and delivery phases of new IT solutions. Drawing on your extensive knowledge and experience in improving business processes through automation and/or process streamlining, you will be required to transform business requirements into functional specifications, including prototyping screen designs and system process mapping.
Your extensive knowledge in systems analysis and process design will support you in providing advice about functional specifications to ensure that they meet the department’s business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
You will also be required to maintain knowledge of emerging IT issues, industry trends and information system developments to contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is located in East Perth (however, may be required to work at other sites as required).

- Demonstrated good knowledge and experience in improving business processes through automation or process streamlining.
