Appointment Pool
Are you an inspirational teacher who believes that students always come first and students deserve to be educated to the highest possible standard?
Caladenia Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Teachers - Early Childhood Education (K-2) for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2020 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2020 school year.
As an Independent Public School, Caladenia PS aims to broaden its reputation for excellence through continued quality teaching and learning programs – this is achieved through a committed and smart-working staff of professionals who are connected to the philosophy that excellent teaching practices lead to excellent results in student achievement. Suitable applicants will ideally be relationship-driven professionals who connect with students and stakeholders in a positive framework and believe that we satisfy student needs first and foremost. We have a culture of smart work, dedication and care for all our community members. Caladenia PS provides an environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We empower staff towards collaborative decision-making and the peer performance management model of teacher development. The school has a strong culture of excellence in care and achievements for both adults and students.
Caladenia PS is staffed by highly committed professionals and supported by a knowledgeable and dedicated School Board. The School Board has a very clear focus on developing the 'whole student' supported through a school culture of nurturing and respecting the dignity of everyone within our community and beyond. It is a calm and welcoming place to work and grow as a professional teacher.
At Caladenia PS, we believe that values help shape us all. Teachers and students build strong and sustainable relationships. As well, our teachers build collaborative and professional relationships with each other. Students know that they are valued and loved by our school staff. Our practices and processes model and support this, forming a supportive environment for all students to thrive.
Students are encouraged to achieve highly and ‘be the best that they can be’. We are leaders in the areas of peer performance management, descriptive and detailed Quality Teaching and Learning Policy Handbook and a culture of collaboration which is real and practiced every day, with common year level DOTT and teacher walk-throughs every day – the environment is one of trust and a desire to give students the best each day. It is an exciting place to teach.
