Appointment Pool
Ellenbrook Senior College (SC) is seeking to establish a pool of vibrant and creative English Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2019 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2020. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2019 school year, up to the end of Term 4, 2020.
Suitable applicants will be flexible, willing to work collaboratively with staff and possess strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider school community to achieve the best outcome for all students. You will be highly motivated; student and relationship focused and able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning experiences. In this role you will engage in reflective practice and collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop opportunities for improved teaching in the English learning area.
Ellenbrook SC is part of a growing and thriving community located in the City of Swan, approximately 40 minutes north of Perth. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
