Walliston Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers for appointment to permanent and fixed term, full time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2019 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2020. Appointments can be made from the pool at anytime for commencements within the 2019 school year, up to the end of Term 3, 2020

As a Teacher at our school, you will be a passionate educator, with high expectations and committed to making a difference in the lives of all young people. It is expected you will have a strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, genuinely plan for and integrate ICT throughout the curriculum, and have a strong Inquiry Based learning focus. Suitable applicants will be expected to work in an environment committed to whole school approaches, self-reflection and ongoing self-improvement. You will work alongside your colleagues in collaborative teams for the continuous improvement of student outcomes, developing strong positive relationships with students and their parents, while maintaining high expectations for all students.

Walliston Primary School is a local School, nestled in a bushland setting at one of the highest points in the hills, east of the city of Perth. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
