North Mandurah Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2019 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2020. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2019 school year, up to the end of Term 2, 2020.
We are looking for energetic teachers, both graduate and experienced, who are willing to work collaboratively as active members of a close knit team. Successful applicants will prove to be passionate and collaborative educators, willing to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment. Applicants will demonstrate a willingness to immerse themselves in a culture of trust where teachers lead teachers (Professional Learning Community). You will be able to embrace and implement our whole school approaches, research proven programs and display confidence in utilising ICT in the classroom. Suitable applicants will demonstrate a strong knowledge of all key elements of curriculum and pedagogy as well as an ability to inspire students to develop a passion for learning in vibrant, engaging and supportive classrooms. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community. Our school involves the whole community in ‘getting it right for every child.’
North Mandurah PS has a reputation for delivering quality education and pastoral care programs. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
