About The Role:
Over the last few years the Department of Finance has migrated its environment to the Azure cloud computing platform, transitioned services to GovNext-ICT, delivering a technical environment that is primed for further opportunity to evolve, mature and improve. As a result, the ICT Service Delivery branch at the Department is looking to build a strong technical and project services team that will support our Cloud Hosted Environment and deliver high quality services to our stakeholders.
The Technical Services teams are comprised of Technical Analysts with strong technical capabilities in Applications, Hosting, Systems and Database Administration (Oracle, SQL) along with strong analysis skills. The team are empowered to utilise their strong technical background and analysis skills to not only support this Cloud Hosted Environment but shape the future of our technical evolution whilst playing a significant part in project work that underpins our Digital Transformation.
The Technical Analyst provides technical and systems knowledge and advice to support the ICT business systems in our Cloud Hosted environment. The successful transition and effective ongoing management of cloud services requires the Technical Analyst to adopt a proactive approach, consulting and collaborate with key stakeholders and lead customer engagement in order to deliver high quality services and system performance.
