We are seeking a State Design Review Panel Manager to join the Office of the Government Architect, within the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage. If you have a bachelor degree in Architecture, eligibility for registration with the WA Architects Registrations Board and expertise in design review, we encourage you to apply.
The SDRP Manager will lead the appointment, implementation, advocacy, operation and reporting for the State Design Review Panel.
The SDRP Manager will be the central point of contact for panel members, relevant stakeholders, authorities, and proponents. They will build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, showing initiative and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
This vacancy is a temporary, fixed-term position with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. The position is available until February 2021 This is a full-time position. Suitable applicants may be considered for appointment to similar (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part-time) vacancies for a period of twelve (12) months from the initial date of the appointment.
The State Design Review Panel is an initiative of the WA Planning Commission and the Office of the Government Architect (OGA). The role of the OGA is to provide leadership and independent strategic advice to Government to improve the design of public buildings and spaces and enhance the quality of the built environment. The Manager will be part of the OGA team.
