Moorditj Noongar Community College (CC) is seeking to establish a pool of enthusiastic Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time Kindergarten to Year 6 vacancies which may arise during the 2019 school year. Placements can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2019 school year.
The school is seeking individuals who inspire passion for learning in others and who enjoy a real sense of achievement. Creating and maintaining an ethos of positive behaviours, and self-management in students through a growth mindset, social and emotional learning and a commitment to developing strong relationships with students, staff and parents are highly desirable
Suitable applicants will be willing to provide DOTT – Physical Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Art, Health across Kindergarten to Year 6, have experience with Aboriginal studies and are exposed to literacy strategies used by the language development centre. Having experience with ‘Talk 4 Write’ program, Brightpath Assessment and SEN planning and reporting would be an advantage.
Moorditj Noongar Community College is a small mainstream primary school set in the quiet surrounds of Black Adder Creek, supporting 100 aboriginal students from K-6 Students The classes are small compared to other schools and this enables students to receive significantly more teacher-pupil time together. The students live in the Midland area and immediate surrounding suburbs.
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.

- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
