The role: We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced candidate into the role of Manager, Warehouse Operations. As a member of the Procurement and Supply business unit, the Manager, Warehouse Operations is responsible for managing all operations and staff within a large distribution centre. This role will play an integral role the continuous improvement of all activities within the distribution centre and will work closely with the Manager Inventory and Manager Customer Supply to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the HSS supply chain function.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, motivated and will utilise their abilities to ensure the effective planning and management of logistics and stock control to ensure that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met. You will be required to manage budgets, performance to KPIs and maintain statistical and financial records as well as overseeing the management, development and performance of the goods inwards, despatch, picking and transportation teams.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an energetic and passionate professional to contribute to the development of quality health service delivery across the organisation and provide strategic advice to senior and executive stakeholders. This will suit a candidate who can manage the demands of a fast paced, multifaceted operational environment contributing to the evaluation, development and implementation of policies, protocols and guidelines in support of governance initiatives.

Conditions: The WA health system engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
