Manea Senior College (MSC) is a dedicated Year 11 and 12 College delivering courses at both ATAR and General levels for students completing the final 2 years of schooling.
We are strategically located between Edith Cowan University (ECU) South West Campus and South Regional TAFE (SRT), providing our students with the opportunity to combine their WA Certificate of Education (WACE) programs with certificate qualifications and access to TAFE and university facilities across the Education Precinct.

Suitable applicants will be experienced and must be qualified to teach Dance ATAR courses to Year 11 and 12 students. Some of the course delivery for the ATAR Dance course will occur outside of regular school hours (after school 2 afternoons per week). The capacity to teach other courses at Year 11 and 12 level will be highly regarded.
We are dedicated to selecting specialist staff with strong curriculum knowledge and relationship building skills to provide an educational journey for our students that enables their success in Years 11 and 12 whilst simultaneously preparing them for life as adults.
MSC monitors and reports on the standard of student achievement, both academic and non-academic, staff performance and value adding. In addition, our staff are involved in established review processes and strategies to monitor quality teaching. This includes student surveys (completed twice per year) and academic data analysis. All Manea staff participate in formal self-reflection meetings with the Principal twice per year.
At MSC we have a strong moral purpose to provide students with quality teaching and learning opportunities as well as life experiences that enable them to transition into the adult world. This is achieved through a learning environment that is specialised for young adults and built on the foundations of strong relationships, mutual trust, respect, support and individual accountability. The College operates under a young adult, work related environment where relationships are built using a first name basis. All students are regarded as, and interact with staff as young adults and have our trust and respect
All staff are expected to uphold the corporate image of MSC by wearing the staff uniform, adhering to the DoE code of conduct and participate in mentoring and other student support programs. In addition, it is expected that staff will maximise the use of the web based student portal and Moodle to provide online teaching, learning and assessment outlines and transition away from a paper based classroom.
